Dr Rob Robinson, Ph. D., LMFT, will present practical information and engaging strategies for Talking to Kids about Alcohol. Join us to learn more about the how and why of talking to kids about this important topic.

SAVE THE DATE : Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018 - Minnechaug Regional High School 621 Main St. Wilbraham 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. The Just Once video presentation will be co-sponsored by the Hampden County District Attorney’s office addressing the dangers of experimenting with drugs and the risk of taking prescribed medications. This video documentary tells true Hampden county stories of drug addiction and recovery of former students who attended local high schools, their parents and experts in the field. The Coalition will sponsor a variety of exhibits on early detection of risky behaviors and ways to identify environmental clues that may suggest drug use, along with resources about prevention, misuse reduction, and treatment and recovery of youth substance use.

November 2017

SAVE THE DATE: The Secret Life of a Massachusetts Teen will be presented by Jon Mattleman at 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 14th at MRHS.
The talk is geared toward adults raising kids ages 11 - 18, but appropriate for adults raising younger children, as well. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Coalition held first annual Community Partners in Prevention Leadership forum, engaging 60 Community partners; New Coordinator hired in August; Save the Date set for October 12th educational program: Fact or Fiction:  Marijuana and the Teen Brain, and Resource spotlight:  NIDA for teens.
